Visit Your Local Car Museums

Auto museums vary in size. Larger museums draw you into their facility to view the collection they have on premise. The smaller museums change their selection of cars often and run many outdoor events throughout the warmer spring ,summer, and fall months of northern States. Car shows go year round in southern States. The outdoor award shows and larger auctions for example allow event planners to schedule a much wider range of cars, and typically a greater number of vehicles for you and your family to see. MU&I are fans of both types of museums. Below are two great examples.  

Audrain's Car Museum is a smaller Museum located in the downtown area of Newport, RI. Their museum  features a unique two to three handfuls of cars indoors. Audrain's outdoor events are spectacular events held at one of the Newport Beachfronts or more often then not, a Newport Mansion.  Their exhibits change three to four times a year. The most recent being June' 11th, 2023 "More Than Just American Muscle" is showing now.

The Newport Car Museum on the other hand is a much larger collection of cars. Only few pictures are shown here. You'll have to see the vast variety of cars NCM has in their beautiful Portsmouth, RI facility. Displayed are some of the rarest cars on the planet.  Classics,  Luxury, Racing, and Touring Cars Galore.
